  1. Which parties are there?

In this Cookie Statement the following terms shall have the following meanings:

BSFood: Cosmotrend bvba having its corporate seat at Grote Baan 9/3, 9930 Zomergem, Belgium registered under enterprise number (BTW-BE) 0891.559.167.

“Buyer”: any natural person (B2C) or legal person (B2B) who is in a contractual relationship, of any nature whatsoever, with Cosmotrend or will enter into such a relationship.

“Sports food and sports food supplements”: the object of one or more purchase agreements.

“Telecom Act”: Act comprising various provisions in respect of electronic communication (cited as: Telecom Act) (URL).

“Act concerning electronic communication “: implementation of the Telecommunication Act in section 129 of the Act concerning electronic communication of 13 June 2005 (URL).

 

  1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data or text files that are placed on your local computer by websites. In browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, 7.0, 8.0

In Internet Explorer, click on “Internet options” in the “Extra” menu.

Click on the “Cog” icon at the top of your browser window and select the “Preferences” option.

Click on “Security”, check the option that says: “Block from third parties and advertisers”.

Click “Save”.

  1. I am not from Belgium. Is another form of permission required for my country?

Cosmotrend is a Belgian enterprise. It is nevertheless possible that not only Belgian citizens visit the website. The European Member States often implement the cookie legislation very differently so that it is hard for the User to make out how his or her permission must be given. Cosmotrend tries to achieve the right method of implementation, in so far as this is technically and materially possible.
